Nahuatl Womxn

As a womxn, why do you think it is important to create?

To express yourself, let your creativity flow. Let that feminine energy flow.

What has been your proudest moment as an artist/creative?

Singing my song “Luna” for the first time in a ceremony

How do you define love?

The feeling of butterflies in your stomach and laughter/smiles.

How do you make time to create?

I don’t make time, it just happens.

What is your earliest memory of making art?

I’ve always loved painting, picked up my first paintbrush at 3 years old. Writing started later on.

What social issues do you care about most?

I can’t choose up. There’s too much injustice right now.

What could you not live without?

My cat.

Who are your influences/inspirations?

Lil Peep, my partner, and my life experiences.

What message do you want to spread with your art?

Ahh! So many! But specifically to love yourself over anybody else, because in the end, you’re all you have.

What does self-love mean to you?

Doing whatever I have to do to make sure I’m straight. Making myself a priority.
